Engagement

The new year came and he met my siblings first then he and his family met my parents, of course with a ring! Everything went so fast, it seemed like he didn't give me any chance to have an ill thoughts about him anymore! Even his family shared his opinion. They hoped the marriage would take place in the same year. (>_<)

Knowing how curious I was before - he explained to me it was not because he didn't want to discuss anything with me but he wanted me to focus on my final exam and moreover, he had said what he wanted me to know. And he said he meant it-everything he told me before that he wanted a true and everlasting relationship with me. He said he just knew that I would be his future wife since the first time he laid his eyes on me. I asked him how he knew it? He said he just knew it - no specific reason! So, when I kept asking the same thing, the repetition made him so weary...(Gosh, I can imagine how annoying I was...) Just please trust me...that was his plead.

I felt sorry for him. Because of my vulnerability and my lack of confidence and patience, I truly created the hellish years for myself and him.
